Saturday Family Night

For Family Night yesterday we watched “Hook” directed by Steven Spielberg, and starred Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts, Bob Hoskins, and Maggie Smith. It was like the tenth time I’ve seen it, and I didn’t really want see it again, but Sufian (my younger brother) really wanted to watch it. “Hook” is an alright movie that did have a few funny parts, and I suppose it’s a good movie to watch w/ the family. But, it’s just was not my thing; I liked the newer “Peter Pan” (directed by P. J. Hogan) more instead, and I think that Jason Isaacs is such a better Captain James Hook than Dustin Hoffman.

Overall, it’s a good movie to watch if there’s nothing else and you want cheap laugh when you’re drunk. ***THREE STARS***

Try "National Treasure" - we just saw it this weekend and it is a good family movie. Lots of history combined with a mystery and brainteasers. Nicolas Cage is great. Enjoy!
