The Greatest Ball Ever! Literally...
On Thursday, Sarah and I went to ball at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London, where all the rich wankers live.
We were invited to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign's Microscope Ball , as we’re of Trailblazers (young people’s MD advocacy group) and live in London. I rent a dinner suit (tux for all my American friends) and Sarah bought a flapper style strappy dress covered in swingy threads.
I thought all the ladies looked amazing, and the hotel was fantastic! I really enjoyed myself, especially meeting ALL the wicked people... It was just BRILLIANT!
Only wish I could do it all over again! Stay tuned for fab photos…

My Weekend of Fashion Excitement…
Yesh, I had a great weekend b/c on Saturday Sarah and I went the Barbican for a special event symposium thing about the WICKED Dutch fashion designers Viktor & Rolf (the highlight being a special interview w/ fashions designers Viktor & Rolf themselves), and after we both met them to get their autographs and take photos... They are both SO FUNNY AND BRILLIANT, and I really had a FANTASTIC time! Photos coming soon…

‘Yesterday afternoon offered a rare treat: the chance to hear Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren in conversation with our very own Penny Martin, a fitting accompaniment to both London Fashion Week and The House of Viktor & Rolf at the Barbican. The conversation came on the back of a presentation of three papers by Ulrich Lehmann, Judith Clarke and José Teunissen, examining the designers' influences, techniques and finally the exhibition itself - all of which provided ample material for discussion. The design duo, gentlemen to a fault, even signed the programmes of the 300-or-so guests after the event. If you weren't lucky enough to snag one of the tickets for the event (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-style allusions of scarcity do spring to mind!) then fear not: never content to do things by halves, we were of course recording events for prosterity and the resulting film of the afternoon's proceedings will be posted to SHOWstudio later this month.’ - SHOWstudio

I <3 Fashion!
Yesterday, Sarah finally got me the tickets to see the renowned Dutch fashion designers Viktor & Rolf in person for a one off special event after their three month exhibition, called 'The House of Viktor & Rolf' on 13 September 2008 at the Barbican Art Gallery.
I'm SO bloody excited! And utterly cannot wait... But, OH NO, what do I wear?

My Hair & My New Jeans
HIYA! I’ve been doing something new lately: I been growing my hair out for the first time in my life. I haven’t cut my hair since last July, and now it’s almost up to my shoulders! This is partly b/c I wanted to see how what I’d look like, but mainly b/c I cannot find a good hairstylist like my brilliant Jenna in America (well, I can find them, but all the great places Sarah goes to get her hair done are in “The City” and don’t have wheelchair access). It’s times like these that I could at least hop and swing on walls/doorframes/signs like in a dream I once had…
In other important news, Sarah (thankfully) finally recently bought me some new jeans, 3 pair to be exact! The first are a pair of dark blue jeans by Lux (yeah I know they’re women’s jeans, but they fit great on me so bugger off) from Urban Outfitters, and a black and green pair of jeans from UNIQLO (a really wicked Japanese store) on Oxford Street. They are all skinny fit, and so stylish… And I look bloody amazing in my new jeans!
